Yamaha Vector-what a fantastic machine. May not be the fastest, but sure "looks" the fastest!!!Grrrrrrr.

Getting ready to roll. My good friend Andy was able to borrow a couple of machines from work. It is a nice perk for being the parts and service manager at a dealer. Thanx again Andy.

Eric, Lionel and Andy. Summit 800X, M8, M1000. The M100o was certainly the best climber, but it seemed that we all preffered any of the other machines for handling.

162" track with two inch lugs. Not quite enough to conquer ten+ feet of snow. Was fun trying though.

This was an all too common sight. Well, the stuck part anyway. Andy impressed us all by getting out of this one on his own. The fact that we abandoned him for half an hour probably helped in his decision to pull out the shovel.

We were all a little more out of shape than we had initially thought. Andy could not go another inch after all that shovelling, so he fell over and took a break. Didnt even have the strength to hit the kill switch!!!

That's Lionel in the background on the M8.

The places some of these guys go is totally unbelievable. Look close, you can see a set of tracks going up?down? the cliff (almost right in the centre of the photo). It doesnt look like it, but it is pretty much 90 degrees there.

Lionel did not like the M8 at first, but after a little practice he was having a good ol time.

Lots of fresh powder to play in amongst the trees below. Nice view too.

Good thing we had our avalanche shovels to dig out the truck!!!

Andy.
